Set on the 10th green of Fort Collins’ Ptarmigan Golf Community, this 5,112-square-foot corner-lot home was fully renovated inside and out, including two structural additions. Working closely with the homeowners, Hutch Design + Build preserved the home’s character while thoughtfully reimagining it to better support the family’s lifestyle. The transformed home features a custom kitchen with layered cabinetry and premium finishes, an arched-entry wet bar with brass detailing, and a stone fireplace flanked by custom arched-niche built-ins. The lower level was rebuilt as an entertaining hub with a golf simulator and lounge area, while the primary suite was fully reimagined with a custom sauna and steam shower. Outdoors, a new pool with built-in bench seating and herringbone paver hardscape opens to views of the 10th green and the mountains beyond. A layered palette of warm stone, natural wood, brass, and quartz runs throughout the home, creating a bright, warm, and timeless aesthetic. The design story doesn’t end at construction. Sister brand Hutch Home Co. completed the home with thoughtfully curated furnishings and accessories from their Old Town Fort Collins showroom, ensuring every space feels as intentional as the architecture itself.

From managing complex home builds to helping clients reimagine how they live, we’ve built a business grounded in creativity, strategy, and heart. Our latest venture, Hutch Home Co., brings that same spirit to our brick-and-mortar shop in Old Town Fort Collins, Colorado and our new online store - making curated design accessible for everyday living.

Whether we’re drafting plans, managing construction, or sourcing the perfect finishing touch, we’re driven by the same goal: to create environments that feel as good as they look.
When we’re not sketching floor plans or managing job sites, we’re in full-on family mode—chasing our three kids through the daily whirlwind of school drop-offs, snack negotiations, and spontaneous dance parties. We squeeze in mountain escapes when we can, never pass up a good concert, and do our best to keep up with our golden retriever (and self-appointed boss), Bailey. It’s equal parts chaos and joy—and we wouldn’t have it any other way.
